Yeah it’s been awhile since I’ve posted any tips but business has kept me busy. Anyway. How many of you use a plastic sheet when removing watch hands
Yep, fast and easy and you don’t have to spend any money on those Bergeron dial protectors
Here’s the rub! The plastic sheet might stop scratches from your dial but more than likely it won’t stop chips.
Unfortunately our Chinese brother and sisters don’t always make sure when painting that the surface is clean of any Contaminants and the pressure that’s pin pointed from the hand removal tools will chip the paint where ever there was contamination underneath. With the Bergeron protectors, they are thick enough to help not let this happen. So next time you reach for a bit of plastic, maybe think again. Just saying!
