I had thought that no watch would ever match or exceed my Grand Seiko SBGA493 spring drive watch as my favorite in my collection, but this Breitling B09 Pistachio might have done it. Granted, I'm still in the honeymoon phase, but I think it might end up being a tie.
I love so much about this watch, from the two tone green dial, to the hands, to the box sapphire crystal, to the beautifully detailed case, to the precise hand-wound movement, to the beautiful alligator leather strap with yellow inner lining. Normally I'm not even a big chronograph fan (or tool watch fan, really), but it all just works with this watch, and the 40mm dial size is perfect on my 18cm wrist. The Grand Seiko has amazing finishing, the dial is incredible, it's fantastically precise, and if you take price into consideration, the Grand Seiko wins at $2,750 cheaper, but I do love this Breitling.
Watch nut (obviously), cycling nut, walking and hiking nut, science nut (B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics), hi-fi nut, music nut, car nut, computer nut (have worked in IT since 1993), video game nut (...

Ah yes, I too am in the mood for pistachio ice cream.
Also, great watch. They have released quite a few beautiful chronographs I wouldn't haven't previously considered. This was probably the first of them.
Yea this is one sexy watch. First time I saw it, fell in love with the dial.
Extremely good looking watch Matt. Enjoy it in good health. 👍🏼
I’ve tried on that exact watch before, on a whim and thinking it’s too ‘busy looking’
But on wrist thought - oh dam 🦫, beautiful 🤩
..and I’m a dyed in the wool GS bro as well 😂
