I need help with my first Junghans timepiece!
I just got my first Junghans watch, it is the max bill MEGA Klein Sekunde Edition 60. It’s part of a limited edition collection in honor of Max Bill, the designer of the minimalist timepieces.
This watch features a multi-frequency radio-controlled movement that receives time signals (available in Europe, UK, Japan, Korea, and North America) makes it highly accurate. Since I am not in any of these regions, I have the option to put it into Quartz mode so it will not search for signal and, thus, can save battery.
Adjusting the time manually is now where the problem comes. I followed the instructions but it just doesn’t seem to work. The date on the watch is 27 (Feb) but it’s now 28 in my time zone. After turning the crown (at position C) it changed to 26 (at around 10pm mark), then went back to 27 at 12am. Did twice and same result. I tried to adjust the date instead by putting the crown at position B, but only the time was changing, which I think should not be the case.
Has anyone here had similar issues? Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.😊🙏🏽

In the app, you don’t actually connect it to the watch. It is another option to set the time. If not in Quartz mode, the phone, thru the app, can send time signal to the watch. I actually tried that but did not work because I didn’t know my watch is in Quartz mode already. Since I also want my watch to be in this mode, I did not try to change the mode and adjust via the app. Maybe until I have more information, I will try later. Right now I’m hesitant to experiment on it.
