What is Continental Swiss Watch
Hello everyone,
I can't seem to find much about Continental. Does anyone know anything about it? I am looking at Continental 23501. Comes with Sapphire glass already.
I'm in Dubai and saw a Continental Swiss Watch from Rivoli store. So it must be a reputable brand I guess.

I've never heard of them, but that's not saying much. There's lots of brands I haven't heard of.
The brand story though... it reads and looks like AI wrote it to maximize SEO.
I’d also never heard of them until reading your post. I did some Googling and Continental appears to be a legitimate Swiss watch company. They were independent but have been owned by the Swiss company EVACO SA since 1993. (I found a statement that they were owned by Swatch Group for some time before EVACO purchased them, but I cannot find anything to corroborate that.)
EVACO was established in 1972. In 1975, they purchased Everswiss watches. It’s unclear if EVACO actually produced any watches on their own before purchasing Everswiss. Those are the only two brands I can find that are associated with EVACO. They appear to operate in sub-$1000 products.
They apparently are available in approximately 20 countries that appear to be mostly in Eastern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. So, it kind of makes sense that they are not more widely known.
Notwithstanding my last statement, I found that Watchshop.com carries their watches in the UK. So, maybe they’ve been under the radar in the West for a while, or maybe they are trying to expand into new markets.
