Poor quality on higher end watches?

I’ve been running into issues where the quality isn’t great on pricier watches. For example $1000+ … the logos or elements on the dial are twisted or are not level. Is this normal ? When I complain they just say that’s how it is and most people wouldn’t notice those imperfections.

Is it crazy to think the logos or numbers should be parallel and even / perpendicular with the other elements of the watch? I understand that I’m noticing something that might be less than 1/2 to a 1/3 of a degree off or smaller but why is it even off to begin with ?

I had this issue on a lumtec and most recently a ball watch. Where it’s been months of back and forth, at the service center, in Switzerland etc. Their response is that is how the dials are.

Curious if my expectations are too high here ?

Sorry to hear that.

Smaller brands such as lumtec might not offer the best service. Normally you would expect to get a replacement watch for this error. (I've had my Boldr replaced, he sent a new watch immediately).

I'm surprised that this happened on your Ball watch as well. I can't believe they just said thats how the dial is....

Nah they should be fixing that for you

That’s insane.

Loupes and macro photography are not friends for the OCD collectors.

Can these imperfections be seen with the naked eye without the magnification?

Pictures?

I'm not using a loupe or high powered camera, this is looking at it with the naked eye. Unfortunately it's difficult to capture, even with an iphone... you can see here...

Hard to tell with the bezel not lined up.
