The Apple Watch or smart wearable device

Yes, the big elephant in the room. Out of all the smart wearable devices the Apple Watch sells more watches than the entire swiss industry. Apple sold over 40 million watches in 2022 thats an amazing feat. Personally I don’t have anything against this particular watch. In fact I own one. It keeps track of my health, alerts me of my texts, emails. Cameras among other useful things.

Funny thing people always tell me there are better smart watches out there than the Apple Watch. That might be true, but the Apple Watch works well with everything apple. Mac, tablet, apple TV etc. and that’s where they have us as consumers. Good for them. The divice is a huge success and they are not done with what they can do with this smart device.

My point with this post, if you have any smart watch, it shouldn’t be your only watch. You should have a watch for different occasions. No matter your price point. You don’t want to be distracted when you go out on a date or are just having a civilized conversation and suddenly you get an alert.

Just my thoughts.

Personally I prefer my Garmin Fenix6 Pro. Has saved my arse when in the scrub chasing pigs the track and maps got me back to my vehicle. I was out for around 16 hours if I had a Apple Watch it would have went flat. This beast stays charged for 2 weeks.
