2021 was one of my better years in terms of being able to acquire a handful of pieces of those I have been wanting for a long time: the VC Toledo, PP5200G, the Cartier tankMC chrono, zenith A783, the omega Flightmaster. Of last year’s 16 or so pieces, the calendar was a great theme, including this @mauricelacroix one which is so well made and presentable but so underrated and neglected. One of the benefits of the fever hype surrounding a few sporty references and series (let’s not mention them by name) is that so much of the rest are dumped in the wilderness of the internet watch landscape. There are so many gems out there. I am so grateful for that!
