Right? I’m not a huge fan of the brand either but this one is certainly a standout. It’s a 99% recreation of the original Carrera. Only difference being the movement and the lack of Carrera text on the dial of mine. Other than that, it’s identical. Fun fact, this watches movement has more relation to the actual watch that went to the moon than the current Moonwatch does.

The history is always a fun aspect. I am a big fan of the metas certified movements, newest with the anti magnetic etc. I’m definitely going to get the new white Speedy, though not for a year or so. On another note, since we are also talking about ET, they reached out when the white Speedy was announced to let me know if I wanted one I’d be a priority. Really awesome! I’m sure I wouldn’t have had the first. But knowing they had me as a valued customer felt really nice.

Now that's good customer relations! The newer Omega stuff is some serious watchmaking. Really love what they're doing with their movements nowadays.
