- This is Heimdallr’s homage to the Seiko Orange Monster (SKX781), which was originally released in 2000.

  • 41.6mm wide; 13.6mm thick; 46.56mm lug to lug height

  • Silver-tone 316L Stainless Steel case (brushed/polished)

  • Silver-tone 316L Stainless Steel 120-click unidirectional rotating bezel with etched 0-60 count-up markings (black)

  • Orange metal dial; lumed (Japan Superluminova C3 Green) applied hour indices with silver-tone polished perimeters; lumed central hands (hr, min, sec) with black metal perimeters

  • Day-Date calendar display at 3:00

  • Sapphire glass crystal with AR coating

  • Silver-tone 316L Stainless-Steel screw-down crown and case back; 200m WR

BAND

  • Silver-tone 316L Stainless Steel oyster-style bracelet with solid links (20mm lugs; brushed/polished); double push-button, fold-over, and milled clasp with micro-adjustments and safety release

CALIBER

  • Seiko (SII) NH36A Japan Automatic (24 jewels; 21,600 vph) with hand-winding and hacking (seconds-hand halt)

  • 41hr power reserve

  • Day-Date calendar complication at 3:00

I know it’s not a Seiko, but I’m pretty impressed so far, not only with the specs, but how it wears. A great watch.

I like Seiko, but past few years they've really just hiked up the prices. This one looks like it would br a pretty good workhorse.

100% agree, especially trying to find an original orange monster at a reasonable price.

I even noticed Lorus, which was their lower end brand jumped up. That's one main reason I'm into Seiko homages that have Seiko movements. I think those companies are filling gaps in the market.
