My first microbrand? - Duxot Testudo Chronograph-Granite Black (DX-2056-03)

This is my first foray into a “microbrand” and I am impressed. As the Testudo name suggests (testudo = tortoise in Latin), this watch resembles a Seiko Turtle. At 45mm case width, it is 0.7mm wider, at 13mm thick, it is 1mm thinner, and at 49mm lug to lug, it is 1 mm longer; it does wear similarly to the Turtle.

Duxot is based out of Hong Kong, but use Japanese branded movements; they are part of the Dartmouth Brands, which include Spinnaker.

I am most impressed by the 100m WR, mineral glass with anti reflective coating, textured leather dial, and best of all, screw-down crown and screw-down chronograph buttons.
