I've never seen this brand. Looking absolutely beautiful!

Sort of blend of a VC Overseas and a Tissot prx.

They are an offshoot of the Wempe jewellery chain - originally from Hamburg, but with stores in the major cities in Germany (and New York). They used to have a store in London, but unfortunately closed it just as I was getting into watches. I think they have a number of models which are pleasing to the eye - usually on the classic/simple side. They are manufactured in Glashütte to (German) chronometer spec.

I managed to pick up this one pre-owned.

That case feels a little close to the sun, there. Kind in Shmoverseas territory

I hear what you say - some might call it an homage (albeit a relatively expensive one!).

I've been thinking about this model.....what to do?

Pros: the finishing is excellent, it is highly accurate, it has a lovely sunburst blue dial and on my 6.6inch flat wrist it sits very comfortably. It has a real weight and quality feel to it.

Downsides: lack of brand recognition and resale value (if that bothers you), no micro adjustment on the bracelet (it is a simple friction clasp - albeit with with some different sized bracelet links) and unless you live near a store, it is difficult to purchase.

That is a cool one!
