Sapphire Coated Mineral Crystal

Looking for a bit of advice from the much more knowledgeable people than me on here. I have a Dan Henry 1964 which has, according to the website, a “sapphire coated double domed mineral glass…”. I’ve managed to get a fairly decent scratch slap bang on the middle on this somehow and I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas about how (or even if) I can get this out of this type of crystal? Tried to take a photo but it wasn’t turning out too well. Thanks in advance.

Polywatch used with a dremel has worked wonders on my watches. Never heard of sapphire coated mineral glass, didn’t know that was a thing.

Thanks for the response. I had no idea it existed either! 🤷

Sapphire coasted is just a marketing thing, you can polish mineral glass at home by polywatch or send it to watchmaker
