It's an elastic loop, not sure what exactlyit is made of (nylon?). I got it from AliExpress. I also have one from Delugs but they are basically the same (except the one from Delugs is more expensive but they have more sizes). The most important and difficult part will be finding a retailer that has the correct size. For a 16cm I use a 130mm band and it's perfect but I think if it's too tight or too loose it will not be a good experience. Here's a photo.
