#whimsicalwednesday is here again. I'm wearing my Forsinning "Tattoo".
It is the eve of Salt Lake Comic Con... er FanX (don't sue me SDCC!) & some pins I apparently collect.
2 of the pictured pins cost more than my entire watch collection, but each in a different way.
Any guesses as to which ones & why?

The round Halcyon pin on the far right is what you receive on your Star Wars Starcruiser excursion to Batuu. It tells the crew that you can access the shuttle to take you back to the ship. Because you can't necessarily buy them from Disney on their own, the cost of that is a 2-day stay on the Starcruiser. I'll let you look that up.
The #22Forever pin should not exist. It is the token I and other fans & alumni of the University of Utah have adopted to remember 2 young men on the football team who lost their lives to gun violence within 9 months of each other. One died in the early morning hours of December 26th, 2020. His friend adopted the same jersey number for the next season. In the early hours of September 25th, 2021, he then died when a dispute about attending an invite only party turned deadly.
We display this symbol to remind ourselves that life is fleeting, we should cherish every moment, not let petty differences tear us apart & we should try to get 22% better every day.

I remember these shootings, truly heartbreaking. We all need subtle reminders, of the good and bad in life, to keep our compass right. You have a nice collection of both. Thanks for sharing, brother 👊🏻💪🏻
