What’s your favorite watch Maintenance/Cleaning tip?

I’ve been using this product for years to clean my watches. It’s basically a light polish & cleaner that is basically a very light carnauba wax . It retails for about seven dollars US. I’ve used it to clean all mine & my friends watches, and they’re always amazed with the results. One can will last you probably a year if not more(depending on how much you use it obviously). All you do is spray a little bit of it on, working in with your fingers. And then polish with a soft microfiber cloth. You will be amazed at the results.

Yes, I will do so after I clean it with this. I take an old toothbrush and scrub the little nooks and crannies with a little warm water, and then again buff with a microfiber cloth.

I got this one from Amazon. You'll need smaller mesh baskets if you want to clean other parts. It's worked pretty well for me.

Do you only use it for straps or can you actually immerse a Waterproof/water resistant dive watch in it without doing any damage?

I've taken the movement out of an SKX and cleaned it that way, no damage or other issues.

Warm water I was told by my watchmaker is all you need.

The product I’ve posted above is excellent at removing and diminishing the appearance of tiny scratches, and in fact, preventing them, because instead of scratching on a surface that it impacts it glides. Trust me, it’ll be the best seven dollars you’ve ever spent. Been using it for over 15 years to clean my watches. In fact, the first thing I do when I get a new watch, is clean it with it to protect it from getting scratched.
