Rediscovering, old friends!

Somebody had mentioned a Seagull Ocean Star in a post, and besides being a really good looking watch, it reminded me…… I got one of those! I haven’t worn for at least a year!

So that being said……say hello to my little 0le friend, the Seagull Ocean Star. A lot of bang for the buck packed in this little beauty! I kicked in the extra hundred bucks and got the upgraded deployment Bracelet clap. She hits way above her weight for what ya’ll get normally.

It's an awesome and relatively unknown diver from THE Chinese watch brand (IMO). It's a tad big for my wrist preferences, but aesthetically it's a winner in my book. Is the build and for/finish on wrist as good as it looks online?

I have a (real) limited edition 1963 but my love for Sea-gull started with the Ocean Star... Its just too big for me.

Very much so…… when I change the bracelet on it I was pleasantly surprised to see that they high, polished the casing in between the lugs. It made it look even better when I swap the band. But I must say I’m not a big fan of the stock bracelet. I don’t like the stamped full over clasp. I’m very happy with the new bracelet. Not that there was anything wrong with the old one I just didn’t like the stamped folded over clasp.
