1st maintenance on a mechanical watch

Out of curiousity; what would you guys say is a fair price for a first time maintenance job on a sellita sw 200 or a miyota 9xxx movement?

Personally, it ain't broke, don't fix it. Those are pretty reliable work horses with proven reliability. If you're dying to spend the $, $300-$500 each would be my guess.

I agree. What I mean is, when a repair or maintenance is actually necessary. Like when the watch runs too fast or too slow for example.
