Japan's explorer homage , outline 369
I'm in that phase that most watch enthusiat catch once in their life, the "I itch for a explorer" phase.
Was considering getting one of the aliexpress brand but always ended up thinking its way to similar to the og
Recently, I was in Japan for work trip and find this watch on a shop in the mall.
After seeing the watch, I research the brand, outline.
The founder of this micro brand seems to be a editor of a watch magazine and love vintage watch.
This model seems to homage an older 36mm explorer model with the pencil hand and waffle dial, and it got a way to tall 4mm acrylic crystal 😂. And it got applied marker and blued second hand which make it a bit different from the og explorer.
The rivet bracelet is a bit too faithful to the og, hollow link, hollow end link, pressed clasp. It feel super light and can actually extend slightly. Some people might call it feeling cheap, but eh it work fine.
Overall it feel fine, it wear fine got a decent movement (miyota 9039) and it scratch the itch for now 😆.
