"Almost, but" Syndrome - Patek Philippe

Hey Guys! There are some Patek Philippe models, especially from the "ladies" collections, which are great but for a few simple design flaws. Hope you enjoy!

I think it is a bridge too far to label something a 'design flaw' which in the end is actually just your personal and subjective standpoint? Your comparison is fun to see, but I for one find the originals better 🙃. Patek, like all the other major brands, is selling to different age groups and territories around the globe, each with differing tastes.

For PP and others, watch size preferences today are rather complicated for both men and women, but especially for women; there are women today happy to wear men's sizes 38-42mm, and there are women who really prefer to wear the smaller women's sizes closer to 35mm. In the Far East and Middle East markets, the size tendencies are again different.

For me, a true visual design flaw in a watch might be something like three different (clashing) letter types used on a dial, an illegible dial (due to glare, finish, color), paint that flakes off, hands that do not reach the minute and seconds indexes, or mechanically, things like a (too) low power reserve, unusably small crown, noisy rotor, etc.

Guy on the interwebs is going to tell Patek how to make better watches.

Expect a call from their CEO any moment now to thank you.
😂😂😂

That's rich. Rich, I say! Made me giggle.
