Sturmanskie Gagarin Heritage

I think this will have to go on the "definitely interested, but needs more research " pile. I love the vintage look of this watch, but is it worth the €590 asking price? Are Russian movements reliable?

Love the look of this watch. I think the "Gagarin" watch had a 34mm diameter and I remember some green printing on the dial. I do not know much about the movement.

These reinterpretations come in 5 or 6 colourways and are 40mm. They all look pretty damn tasty to be fair!

I bought mine for 322€ on Amazon a year ago. I like to wear it. I gave it a comfortable leather strap. A nice legible watch with a pedigree. No issue so far. The only drawback is the movement is a bit noisy. Water resistance is probably minimal.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if they're still available on Amazon

Indeed! Is it worth the price difference ? Maybe. Gagarin was 27 when he flew into space. To me, he looks like a teenager on this portrait. Don’t you think so?

That price seems way high. Here's my Sturmanskie Gagarin "First Man in Space" watch. You can find it on Etsy for $72 US.
