This will be a long, drawn out court case. Countries can't just go around fining companies unless what they have done is truly unlawful. You can't buy one on line in Australia either and no one is chucking a hissy fit. I think it's admirable to try and preserve the in person customer experience even with all the snobbery that's been prevalent with many AD's.
Plus, there are many reasons why you wouldn't want to send an expensive watch through the post. I know that it would be insured, but who likes going through that process?
