@artpordiaz and I got to check out all the new release in hand specially the controversial Bremont rebrand. I came in with one mindset but left with another… completely change my outlook on the new redesign. In person it’s completely different.

I can’t get over how amateurish these look.
They look like San Martin’s…cheap and awful
Well I like them & think they're an improvement over their older models.
To me these look more cohesive, the older ones looked more "microbrand" , trying too hard to be different
Not my cuppa. The Terranova looks better in real life images than the press photos, for sure, but still doesn’t look good. The fonts aren’t working for me, with vintage numerals (that look very try hard) and the contemporary luxury brand font for the logo. Kind of has a budget Panerai vibe to it, with the bulbous, cushion-like case.
The new Supermarine looks like every other dive watch. The old S300 had a distinct character, while this looks generic. Why get it over anything else in the $3.5-4K range?
The part that bugs me the most is the misdirection they’re trying to pull on pricing. They’re not really any cheaper. Sure, they have one Terranova that’s less than $3K, but everything else is a lot more expensive and in the same range as everything else that Bremont has done. The new Supermarine is not really cheaper than the old S300, and, they arguably ‘decontented’ it - dropping the hardened steel for 904L and no longer using COSC certified movements. The math (on value) isn’t mathing.
Of course, I haven’t seen them in person yet, so I could still change my mind. Wish I could make it this weekend!
