Vintage crown goes hard. Thoughts?

I like the how the modern crown sits on the clasp but there is a certain old world class about the old style. What do you think?

The old clasps were better…except maybe the glide lock on my sub but honestly it seems like just another thing that can break and it’s gigantic.
