I would call it an incredibly DEEP black. It has absolutely no texture or radiance to it. With the great AR coating and in the right light it almost looks as thought the hands and indices are floating in a total blackness.

If they would come out with a bright color option, I would buy a second one. It very well may be my favorite watch.
