Rotated use of Miyota 0S10 in Welder Watch

I was recently doing a regular battery change on a friend's Welder watch. After putting the case back, I noticed that the second hand was not working. The movement was Miyota 0S10, and after a small googling I noticed that there are many threads saying "Miyota 0S10 is not working after battery change". People stated that chronograph is working fine, however the small second is not ticking.

Here is the what Miyota 0S10 manual says:

After seeing this, some bells rang. To add some authenticity to the watch, the designers placed the movement 180° rotated inside the case, as a result of which there was no small second hand at all. It is behind the Welder logo, unused. On the right side of the dial is a small hand that resembles as a small second hand, instead it was "chronograph hour hand", which is unusual since most chronos can only measure one hour (59 mins and 59 secs, to be exact). Also, starting and resetting the chrono is also a little bit awkward, since the buttons A and B in the diagram are upside down in the watch.

Here you can see the movement inside the watch:

I wanted to share that here so that if anyone googles "Miyota 0S10 is not working after battery change" again, maybe this was the issue. Watch is working fine mate, there is no small seconds. 😉
