Through the depths of my hairy arm the sub stays afloat.
I purchased this from a local AD when shopping for a 10 year wedding anniversary present for my wife. Was pressing for a lower price on the jewelry. Instead of the discount on the jewelry the AD offered the watch.
When people talk about wait list I think that may exist at bucherer. But for family owned AD It’s more of give and take. In my case I was getting something for my partner and was able to add something for myself.
Rolex buying experience turns off a lot of fellow enthusiast. I find it the middle ground between hunting for rare watches and the try it on, wear it home today.
I hope to learn and contribute to this platform.
Enjoy life don’t stress about optics. Always have an exit plan.
Trying to consume time instead of collecting it.
Technically, you had to buy jewellery to be able to buy this watch and it’s the same rule with every other AD. Either you buy something that you don’t want or wait on a (supposed) list to get a Sub. 😜😜😜
Or a less known fact is: Be a famous person to get a watch that you want.
That type of logic, people should also use social media followers for free meals at restaurants.
Might of missed it, but technically, was buying something for my wife anniversary. And was offered the watch. Stating waitlist are BS. There are multiple ways in cutting the so called line. Being famous is the worse and least probable amongst consumers.
My point is if your making a purchase for someone use that as leverage to negotiate yourself something.
Earn your own coin and dispense it as you feel fit.
