Finished Upgrading my Orient Mako 2
I purchased this a couple weeks back from @Bwblunt. He is a good honest person too. Anyway we know that the stock crystal is mineral, and the stock bezel sucks.
Enter LongIslandWatch and I purchased the coin edge bezel for the Mako2/Ray2 which is compatible with any bezel insert for a SKX. I purchased a stainless steel 12 hour insert also from LIW. The sapphire crystal came from AliX plus it was less than 1/2 what LIW was charging.
I would have had thos mod done last week but this was my first time doing a bezel insert and completely messed up the one that came with the insert. So I bought a pack of 5 off ebay.
Pro tip: If it is your first time doing a bezel insert, buy extra bezel stickers.
Long story short, I am very happy with how it has turned out.
