Hi all, last week I finally got my brand new TAG Heuer Carrera cal. 5, 39 mm, with steel bracelet.
Normally (I have all the tools necessary) I am able to adapt the bracelet to my wrist, for every watch I own, by myself.
This time I ad to surrender. The pins are so tight that I was compelled to wear the watch with a leather strap, while I wait my watchmaker is coming back from his August vacation.
In any case, do you have any suggestions to extract those pins?
Thanks. Every suggestion will be very appreciated!

is it possible to apply a little bit of lubricant in those pins?
Hi @Unholy , it‘s possible, I think, but I’ve never seen that solution in any normal case.
Maybe my hobbyist‘s tools are not strong enough.
Is that the same piece in the movie “The Gray Man”?

No worries. Sorry to hijack your thread.
No problem at all!
Hi all,
at last I was able to do it by myself. The problem was that I wasn't able to extract the pin, after pushing it out with the special tool with a screw. A pair of pliers were not enough an the pin remained firmly hals-inside.
What I did is to use a second pin, smaller in size, to push it out, inserting it from the half empty part. With the help of a small hammer.
Easy, when you know how to do it. I like to explore and find solutions. I hope this can help somebody reading this thread in the future.
Dress or sport, it works!
