William L 1985 Power Reserve, Ref. WLPR007
My second microbrand, found it by accident through eBay browsing xD and I got a great deal on this. Bought it used for $109, such good value for that amount and it comes with a bracelet and original box. Just the movement itself cost that much already!
William L 1985 is from Paris, France and their watch manufacture in Shenzhen, China. The company seems to be started in 2015 from kickstarter.
The watch have a Seiko NE57 automatic movement, with hacking and handing winding with date. The hand wind is super smooth, compared to my only other hand wind watch, SSK001. Also is my first watch with a power reserve! 😎
Case 40.5mm, Lug to lug 47mm and 14mm thickness, and 20mm lug width. The lug to lug looks a little shorter due to the allusion from the lug tip being angle down and polished. It give a looks of 43/44mm lug to lug
Case is 100m WR and have a flat sapphire AR crystal with screw down and signed “WL” brand logo on crown, case back and claspe.
Hour and minute hands lume have Super-Luminova, but it’s bad. Worse than my SNKL23
Still couple left on eBay, not as an awesome deal as this but can find them around $200. Or you can buy them msrp on WilliamL1985.com website for $530.
If you want this movement, there is the Aragon brand but their watch are huge!
Newbie, I got the watch bug xD …trying to be good and not trying to buy every affordable watch I like and save for a good one, like a grand Seiko, Omega, or Tudor…most likely a grand Seiko with spring...
