Seiko SNKL 23 before and after jubilee non taper vs tapered

This is my first mechanical watch (month into watch so far) and I modded with a jubilee bracelet 20mm, instead of 18/19mm since I like how the 20mm blend in with the watch from the lug to the bracelet.
I really love the jubilee bracelet on this but it didn’t feel right because it was a bit heavy and didn’t feel right somehow. Then I learned about taper bracelet. Man what a difference being taper. This is from a 20mm tapered to 18mm. It feels so good now as in lighter since each of link was a slightly larger for some reason on the non taper version. This also looks much better proportionally.
I also bought an oyster bracelet, it is coming soon. Fingered crossed that the end link fit perfectly with no gap or I have to return it :( it was so difficult to find an oysters bracelet for this.
Newbie, I got the watch bug xD …trying to be good and not trying to buy every affordable watch I like and save for a good one, like a grand Seiko, Omega, or Tudor…most likely a grand Seiko with spring...
Got myself an aftermarket Jubilee as well. 19mm though.
Great choice for a first watch! Love how it looks like a new old stock vintage.
