Seiko SRPC61K1. The BOTTLE CAP.
With a 45mm diameter, on paper, this thing is a monster. It's really not. I don't think the short lugs are the reason it sits small even though it definitely helps. I think it has more to do w/ the optical illusion that is the dial. The dial is deep-set and contrasts with the bezel making this watch feel like a 45mm but look more like a 38-40mm.
There's a lot of attention given to the super-represented SKS/SKX's and the like but the SRPC61 Bottle Cap seems to have flown below the radar. I love the look of this watch and it drove me crazy that I couldn't find many pictures, videos, or even listing for it.
I can't really say what it is about this little Desk Diver that speaks to me but I know this, it's beautiful.
