I've made some customisations to my SRPE99 PADI Turtle.

I've owned the Seiko PADI Turtle for a little under a year and a half and during that time, it has become my most worn watch.

I decided that the PADI Turtle has earned the right to a few upgrades. I've replaced the case & hardlex crystal with the Crystal Times CT704 Turtle Watch case & the CT072 Double Dome Sapphire Crystal. I've swapped out the unsigned crown w/ a Namoki Polished Chunky Crown. I've replaced the stock bracelet w/ a Uncle Straps/Uncle Seiko Beads of Rice bracelet & I've swapped out the aluminum bezel insert for a L.C.B.I fully lumed sapphire pepsi insert.

Cool, looks good! Can I ask why you swapped to the CT case? Was the OEM one banged up or something?

Good looking watch. But I'm curious too. Why the case swap? Did you switch the 6309 style turtle for the 6105 "Slim" case?

·

The case had been pretty well banged up and the CT case is a exact replacement.

Two questions, I can’t find the CT072 Double Dome Sapphire Crystal on the crystal time US site, can anyone help me locate it??? Please. And second, the Crystal Times CT704 Turtle Watch case, what is the difference between the case that comes with the watch when I purchased it, the Crystal Times CT704 Turtle Watch case. Please help. These are the first mods I want to do

Hello FaithofourFathers! The CT072 double domed sapphire crystal no longer seems to be available on the crystal times website. There is a double domed Sapphire available on the Namoki mods website and when it comes to the Crystal Times turtle case, by my measurements, it seems to be a one for one copy of the Seiko case.
