Here is a recent arrival all the way from Lucknow India, a budget blingfest Citizen. It's not quite a frankenwatch, it seems to have the original 8200A movement judging by the amount of wobble in the rotor. The refurb on the dial could have been done better but I wasn't expecting a perfect restoration for the money. No biggie, when the time comes I'll buy some watchy tools and attempt to swap in a new 82xx Miyota or compatible movement which are almost a dime a dozen on eBay. Maybe I'll put some black hands on it as well to make them more visible against the still decent sunburst.

I like this look! I’ve been wondering why the red “Phoenix“ style bird is on so many of the reconditioned watches from India.

Seiko has the 5 series, Citizen wants to trump that with their Eagle 7 series.
