Just for the heck of it.
This black jobbie from Fleurus is far from their finest piece but looks ok from a distance, much like the Cardi Vostok it is securing here. I have other more conventional straps from Fleurus that are much better made:
I may investigate a black milanese for this particular watch.
Next is a brown number from Kreisler on my Komandirskie. The Komi is somewhat rough around the edges which no amount of titanium nitride coating will hide and the braid highlights this rough-and-ready aspect:
This Kreisler braid is very flexible and a just a little elastic. The black Fleurus braid is quite stiff and takes a set from wearing.
I do like the brown braid on the Komi but it will not replace a double hump Fleurus as my favourite on this watch:
Brown and gold is an enduring combination that has put food on the table of coffee label designers for decades.

That Kreisler braid has a ton and I do mean A TON of character. Love it!

To top it all off, the Kreisler was only AUD$10 plus post in my city. It does not have quick release springbars but for that price I cannot complain. Part of the fun of having these watches is experimenting with straps and bracelets.
