This is a kickstarter that I backed (only my second attempt at this, the first one appeared to fund then disbanded ☹ ) it looks like they have hit their goal with 6 days to go, so if anyone is interested I think it's worth taking a look. This young man Kevin Pedral is working on his first watch called Artefact:
It's an interesting/unique shaped dial in a variety of colors. There are several different options to choose from to back the project.
*disclosure: I have no interest in this company whatsoever beyond hoping to get a watch. I really have no experience with kickstarter either, my understanding is that no money changes hands until the project fully funds, but beyond that I have no idea what, if any, guarantee there is to actually receive the product. So my advice would be to not risk any money you can't afford to possibly lose.
