Vostok Amphibia “Zissou”

The Wes Anderson film “Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” featured watches made by Vostok, Amphibian models, for the cast to wear during filming. While most believe all the Vostoks in the film were the black dial version there is a scene with a cast member wearing the blue dual version. These models became known as the “Zissou” and reissues are everywhere including Amazon. However there are a few originals that have the lead actor Bill Murray engraved on the caseback. Heck you can even buy these on sites like Meranom but just don’t get wet or sunscreen on them, most are stamped and will fade. And we all know the original Bill Murray will never fade.
