DIY nato strap
Wearing my KFM today on a semi-DIY strap. Picked up this nice Ritche nato on Amazon. What I really wanted was a grey color but when it arrived it was a bright silver. I thought I'd darken the color and decided to dye it with some hot coffee to tone down the silver. After some patient and repeated soakings, it turned out a nice moss green color. 😁

Technically I think you should toss it in a dryer or lightly iron (with press cloth) to heat set so the color doesn't run. I've done the same thing to subdue the gleaming white in new striped straps.
