I always wanted a Seiko Willard but didn't want the price tag. Thankfully I've now found brands like steeldive that give me just as much satisfaction. Also my first automatic watch!
I bought the Steeldive 1970 before a Seiko Willard to see if I liked the shape and size on my wrist. I did, so I then bought a Seiko Willaed JDM off Gnomon when they had a sale. It's a great watch - the build and lume can't be beat for the price. I dare say it might be the best watch for the money one can get - def up there at the very least.
I 've got an original 6105 I bought several years ago. I don't wear it that much as I get apprehensive about damaging it. The Steeldive is a great value option & you can actually get it wet, wareas I don't let my 6105 anywhere near water as it's not worth the risk!
