I'm bias towards Timex, I really like all the features from this expedition edition. PS: I wonder why indiglo is not a must in other watches, it's super helpful!

So much watch for so little money! Yes, you have to give a Timex extra love since most of them aren't made of stainless steel, but they are phenomenal value for money and have a charm all their own. I have a 51 year old Marlin that has never been serviced and still works!

Completely agree! I would love to see that Marlin!

What kind of special care would you recommend?

The finish, aside from the stainless steel back, is prone to pitting. As such, I clean all mine with a microfiber cloth to remove any sweat or oils that may have been left from wearing. I have learned this the hard way!

Also, here's the Marlin, on wrist during a lunch break today!

Thanks for the tips my friend, I'll remember them, for sure!

Also, do you see any problem using them in the ocean for a quick swim or a surfing session?

PS: Thats a beauty of a watch you have right there, the light golden background is so pleasant to look at!

Thanks! I'm a fan of the face and the indices on this watch, as well!

I likely would refrain from using them in the ocean, as they tend not to play nice with salt water and they only have 50m of water resistance. Your mileage may vary, however, I'd be wary about it personally.
