This gets asked pretty frequently. There’s many opposed to the idea but there’s also many that are for it. Currently there is no marketplace that’s affiliated with WC.

I see. I just started on WC in January, plus I don't use any other social media platform, so I am not aware of the dark side. Great to know.

I thought it'd be nice that enthusiasts can sell/buy/exchange with fellow enthusiasts. I may be naive of the bad side of it.

I agree that it would be nice. Like you, I don’t have and don’t want other social media (societal cancer, etc.). Also, I have never sold on any of the major watch selling platforms (C24, EBay, WUS, r/WatchExchange). So I don’t exactly have a selling history or reputation established anywhere. Just buying. Which I understand would be a flag for some.

There’s been many good points brought up on other similar posts that are both in favor and against the idea of selling/trading on here. The best thing I could think of is to have some kinda WC-adjacent site, that’s only used and known about by established WC users. There’s a lot of logistics and undertaking that would go into something like that, though.

Ultimately, my solution is to just trade in the watches I want to sell at an AD. There’s many who take trade-ins. Shoutout to @lla2891. I’m going to Toppers. 😄
