Which one?

Been thinking that I need one more watch to complete my collection and I think I've narrowed it down to two. Can't decide though. Any thoughts on these two?

I would take eather one but my personal favorite is the blue Sub

·

I think the blue sub is just too blue. I just don't like it in person. The Daytona is really amazing on the wrist.

This is just one girl's opinion, but I'd absolutely go Daytona

·

I like color. Bluesy for me. I’d do the Daytona if it was all gold.

You’re gonna get a lot more utility out of the submariner. It’s the kind of watch you can get wet go swimming with, and not have to worry about it.

·

The LB easily. What's your wrist size?

16.5 cm. What is "the LB?"

·

No diamonds for me, even if on a Daytona. Maybe get the newer bluesy with white text?

Rolex references use acronyms or letter codes for their bezel colors. LB is Lunette Bleu

Oh and the Daytona always felt smaller to me than the size would dictate. Sub is chunkier to me but it works on my 7.3" wrist

Gotcha!!! Thanks!

Yeah, none for me either. I posted the wrong Pic. Gonna correct.

My Choice would be the Daytona. Tried it already at the AD… and ordered than a other one 😉

Sorry every time I see a gold and steel Daytona I think of an acquaintance who walked into the same Rolex ad when I was negotiating purchase of a white dial steel model. You could get discounts but not on the white steel models back then. Long story but years later fella, inherits a small amount, buys a condo disappears from sight until one day I receive an email from a friend working in Manhattan, informing me that our mutual friend passed suddenly. I decided to reach out to a very small circle of watch enthusiast buddies of the sad news. Very quickly discussions turned to the fate of his watches including the 2tone Daytona. Buy the sub.
