This is one of my favourite watch and strap combos. The DS30 is thin and light, and the Erika's strap is super comfortable. They both are also very toolish/functional items, so they go together based on that as well.
Damasko is a very serious, no-nonsense tool watch. I do not know why more people are not crazy about them. I think they are far better than Sinn.
It's a shame that people aren't as aware of the brand as they should be. I think part of it comes down to limited distribution, and that fact the 556 got so much love before the prices went up about 5 years ago.

Completely agree. I like Sinn, but they are not as well built as Damasko. I have the DK30 with their in-house A-26 movement. They designed the movement to eliminate the ETA-2826 shortfalls.

I got my DS30 before the Dk32 launched, but I seriously considered upgrading. I've since decided to stick with the DS30, but it was a close thing.
It looks nice. I wanted mine without the AR coating on the outside of the crystal and a red seconds hand (which they said no problem, Sinn won't do custom others) so I decided to upgrade the movement as well.

I wish mine did not have the outter AR coating, it's scratched up pretty badly now. When I send it for service I'll get it polished off the crystal.
Part of the reason I went with a DS30 over the 556i was that fact they I could get a coloured second hand and date. I love the yellow mine came with, it's a fun pop of colour on an otherwise serious watch.
