Love the idea of owning a watch passed down from previous family members. To me doesn't matter if its a £80 or £8,000 watch the true values in the knowledge that your father , grandfather etc wore the watch and you get to enjoy it and hopefully pass it on to your child. A watch is an item you need to constant look at and so a lost loved one is always remembered and a part of them always with you. Sadly I don't have a watch that was passed down to me but I do have a gold signet ring I wear that belonged to my Great grandad and passed down to the eldest son each generation. I have a Omega seanaster 300 diver, Tudor bb58 and a Omega Deville that I will pass down to my sons and hopefully they will look after and pass to their children.
