Was able to hunt down this GS watch. In my opinion, best GS Spring Drive release yet!

After handling one at the AD (which was reserved) I knew I had to hunt one down. With a bit of help, it's become my favorite GS. Was worried it would be a thick bracelet but it wears remarkably well. The new clasp is so comfortable!

Totally! I would say, though, that I've come around to the heretical view that all GS watches look better on straps.
All this time, I've always gotten my watches on bracelets. I used to do a ton of outdoors sports - climbing, cycling, running - and I never understood why anyone would get a watch on a flimsy leather strap. Now, though, I'm old and the extent of my activity is lifting my cocktail glass at 2pm, and I totally get leather straps now. 😀
I'm not usually a big fan of highly textured watch dials, but this one is pretty cool. It's not over the top.

It actually looks like a solid blue from afar, but def has a lot of depth and changes up close with different lighting
Congrats, it is stunning. Need to visit my GS boutique to see this one. If it were fitted with the 9S I would have a hard time leaving the store without buying it.

I agree! I got one too. I initially preferred the more heavily textured dial of the white birch, but I might be changing my mind on that. This subtle blue texture is fantastic! I love spring drive, but I wish it was as pretty as the hi beat movement in the white birch, but the accuracy of the 007 is unmatched.
