I love this. Itโs the most Seiko thing Seikoโs done in years.
Itโs great isnโt it? Iโd ordered without trying as no local stock to view, but I was genuinely elated after wearing it all day yesterday. The quality is outstanding too ๐

I was in a chat with another Cruncher and mentioned that I was seriously debating between that watch and one other and his response was, "looking at your collection, I know you're getting the Speedtimer regardless." So I guess it's just a matter of deciding between the black and white versions, especially hearing your enthusiasm for it ;)

Oh really? What was the competition?
I went for the black face as it gives me Speedmaster vibes with the white writing etc, whilst also being completely different in looks. I find it more legible for me too. I like the โpandaโ style, although Iโm not sure the 3 dials at the top do it justice for me. Still a great watch either way though, Iโm sure youโd be more than happy to add it to your collection ๐

I'm also eyeing the lavender-dial King Seiko. I haven't seen it in person but tried on the silver-dial version and it was just fantastic in terms of the size, unique case/bracelet design, and finishing.
Given the number of watches I have (and more Seiko than any other), I really don't like "collecting" watches in the sense of having so many that I don't actually wear and enjoy them, so I'm eying what I've got to decide what would go to open up the money and wrist-space for the next one...
