Last watch designed by the father of integrated sports watches

Gerald Charles Maestro, Designed by Gerald Charles Genta.

I had been looking at the Gerald Charles Maestro for a few months, I had negotiated a deal with a dealer to buy a new one and as I was about to pay for it, my sales person from the dealer I buy most of my watches from texted me a picture out of the blue if this watch for a very good price. The rest is history. I am very pleased to be able to own the last Watch designed by the father of the the sport watch.

The watch’s purple sunburst dial and vulcanised rubber strap, featuring the Clous de Paris motif on the top side and GC’s logo tapisserie on the other, fully match the stainless steel of the Maestro case and the polished pin buckle with brushed applied plate and GC logo engraved. Thanks to the sunburst finish, a play of lights is created: different layers of colour emerge, sometimes warmer, sometimes cooler, depending on the light it reflects.

I'm still looking for that emerald green sunburst dial you mentioned... what is even going on in this post? Did chatgpt write it based on some Bing search results?

Ohh gotcha, that makes sense!

Anyway, cool and unique watch. Based on how influential genta's ideas have been, I wouldn't be surprised if vertical asymmetry becomes the new integrated bracelet.
