I escaped the chaos of collecting vintage timepieces in the late 1980s but have enjoyed seeing so many great nostalgic watches since joint WC. Everything new does have the potential of being old one day. I still recall with humour a friend and I buying 14kt Concord quartz Moonphase watches, he was a veteran collector of everything said the Concord watches were future collectibles. I wonder? A pre own buyer seller once told me concord gold watches were being bought by weight and used as “melt”.
