I have a question, I apologize if it is a silly one too!

So, I was looking into the Patek Philippe World Complications, and I noticed the white gold versions Ref is 5231g-001 but if you look that up it shows the Patek 5905R-010 2023? And when I look up the yellow gold version it shows a minute repeater. I am just a little confused? Do they have different Ref numbers because of the casing material? I know the white gold is 5231g-001, and the yellow gold version is 5213j-001? can anyone help?

Where do you look it up?

On Patek's website and Chrono24, the Ref 5231G-001 is as you said the white gold version :

https://www.patek.com/fr/collection/complications/5231G-001

https://www.chrono24.fr/patekphilippe/ref-5231g001.htm#gref

The only yellow gold version I could find on Patek's website is the 7130R-014 (green dial, diamonds bezel)

https://www.patek.com/fr/collection/complications/7130R-014

When I Google "Patek philippe 5213j-001" the only result is this post on WatchCrunch so that seems weird...
