New limited edition watch just dropped
Bought myself a second AVI-8 limited edition automatic watch. This time from their P-51 line of watches. I have been fascinated by airplanes for years now (much longer than I’ve been collecting watches) and thought this would be a cool buy because there is literally a piece of the P-51 mustang fighter that the watch is named after in the case back. On top of the fact that the crown guard kinda reminds me of a panerai
I’m not going to go too in depth on the specs here so I’ll only mention like two or three things. First off, it only has 50M of water resistance, better than 30 meters and I know these are made to mostly be pilot watches. Secondly it’s got a domed sapphire crystal which is awesome. And the last thing I’m going to mention is yes, it’s obviously made out of Stainless Steel.
Over all, so far super happy with this watch and I may post a review of it sometime next week if I don’t forget
I’m a somewhat new watch collector, mainly into sport and digital watches because I’m really active. I also occasionally get off-wrist watch photos when my DSLR actually decides it wants to work
I’ve been wearing mine almost every day since I got it. I really like this color and the checkered pattern lume is super cool! I am very happy with the purchase! This is an awesome watch!
