Some pick of the pics from Windup Watch Fair
Saturday I braved the crowds of folks checking the time on seemingly thousands of watches and saw some beauties. I wasn't able to get close to a couple of booths sadly like Farer, but for the most part I saw and tried on a lot of watches. And in the end, I bought a watch from a company that I've been seeing online for the last year that actually had them for purchase there at the fair! See if you can guess which one I bought - the hint is it rhymes with Flystopher Borg. :)

My theme for the show was how much I liked black and gold combo like this amazing Zodiac
I took many more pics, but to keep it short I'll end with my newly acquired honeymooner CW GMT 🙂 Obviously this is inspired (to say the least!) by the Explorer II, but for me at least, it has it's own amazing vibe. The black is pretty lustrous in person.

Midlife crisis is hitting me in the watch face. Wife and daughter have zero interest in watches so here I am. Crisis started with a cheap HMT watch from eBay, then a spin of the dreaded “wheel” got me...
